TAKING THE RESPONSIBILITY OF OUR FUTURE AS THE YOUTH.
Related to country: Kenya

To all the youth out there reading this, I wish to appeal to us to sit down and consider making greater steps in the kind of leadership that exists today and the one that we desire to have in the future.
It is a fact that we will get what we put in place now when the future approaches, the youth should be involved in community based activities, attain greater levels of education and also seek the chances to be investors in our economies and leaders too. We cannot depend on the current leaders to deliver anything substantial for us since they play too much power politics while we are the ones to suffer.
Till that time that we shall be independent in our reasoning and actions, our future will be very tough! We have to see that we protect our environment, our economy should be developed through job creation and emoployment, our governments should ensure proper sanitation and health facilities with the help of the donors, the infrastructure should be developed and protected while jobs be created and not destroyed.
I urge the youth to be positive thinkers and develop talents that will be put to use and natured for a brighter future. The insecurity that exists in most of our nations is uncalled for since the root causes are well known and if proper actions and guidelines can be put in place, we can never have sleepless nights again.
Approaching another decade with similar challenges or leadership on our ecomies, war, health, industrialisation, religion, education among others, we need to gang out thoughts together for a cohesive solution knowing that one man alone can never do it and fulfill our desires.
Lets contribute in whichever way we can and see ourselves happy...

Lets engage.
I wish to ask my fellow youth and all those concerned about our current state of affairs to engage in dilogue through the Internet and share our views.
We never know where our ideas may land or the impact they may have.
Plesae be pro-active.
